Acquiring and building in  interesting healthcare and diagnostics businesses

Personally funded. Long-term. Focused on healthcare and longevity.

About me

I have spent the past thirty years building and operating businesses — most recently as Founder and Partner of a group of learning and media companies, built through more than eighteen acquisitions.

I am now focused on UK healthcare — and on the role that diagnostics, screening and preventative health will play in helping people live longer, healthier lives. My interest is in the established, owner-built clinics and health businesses that have served their communities well for years, and in how committed ownership, modern technology and fresh investment can carry them into their next chapter

What am I looking for?

I am seeking to acquire and personally lead one established, profitable healthcare business in the South East of England. Areas of particular interest include:

  • Diagnostic and screening services
  • Private clinics and health-assessment practices
  • Physiotherapy, osteopathy and musculoskeletal health
  • Preventative and longevity-focused health services

I am typically looking at established, owner-managed businesses with a loyal patient base, where the owner is beginning to think about retirement, succession, or the next stage of their life.

How I work?

  • Personally funded. I invest my own capital. There is no investment committee, no external fund, and no bank approval process to navigate — which means I can move quickly and give a clear answer.
  • One decision-maker. You deal directly with me throughout.
  • Discreet. Every conversation is treated in the strictest confidence, whether or not it leads anywhere.
  • Respectful of what you’ve built. I care about the things that don’t appear in a contract: that your team is looked after, your patients well served, and the reputation you’ve earned is carried forward rather than stripped away. I am a long-term owner, not a trade buyer.
  • Flexible on transition. Whether you want a clean exit or a gradual handover, that’s yours to shape.
